In this role, you will be responsible for following up on enquiries and leads to convert these opportunities into projects for the business. The client is well-positioned, with work often presented to them, so this isn’t a pure cold sales role; it’s more of a warm sales position. Occasionally, there may be a need to generate new business, but generally this isn’t required as their product is in high demand.
The company is currently very busy, offering job security. If you’ve dreamed of working in the motorsport sector but haven't had the chance, this is a perfect opportunity, as they are open to candidates from diverse backgrounds.
You will be dealing with technical products and clients, so technical or engineering competency is required. Their main market is Motorsport, working with prestigious brands on exciting projects.
In addition to Motorsport, they supply products to Aerospace, MOD, and Marine industries, offering potential relationship development in these sectors. The company has a well-equipped workshop near Milton Keynes, which you can showcase to customers. Reporting directly to senior management, the role suits someone who shares a hardworking and dedicated approach.
Relevant experience includes sales, business development, or account management with a technical/engineering background. An engineering degree is not mandatory but advantageous. Motorsport industry knowledge is a plus, making it easier to connect with customers and aligning with personal interests.
The role is primarily based on-site in Milton Keynes, with some travel encouraged but not frequent.
