Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in the East Midlands is seeking a meticulous Technical Report Writer to produce clear technical reports following inspections of structures such as chimneys, masts and church steeples, with training provided.

The role offers full-time permanent work, 40 hours a week, with training and progression in a specialist engineering environment and the opportunity to gain BS EN 62305 accreditation as you develop knowledge of working at height and safety systems.

Qualifications

• GCSE level education with Maths and English
• Experience or training in technical reporting or engineering environment an advantage

Responsibilities

• Prepare Technical Reports from inspections of structures and working at height systems
• Create quotations for remedial works, inspections and installations
• Assist with risk assessments, designs and quotations for lightning protection systems
• Maintain accuracy of documents and supporting information
• Communicate with clients to build professional relationships
• Use internal systems to prepare documents and maintain records
• Support health and safety and working at height requirements
• Develop specialist knowledge of engineering principles and construction methods
