Job summary

Boeing Defence United Kingdom Limited is recruiting a Support Engineering Manager to lead Technical Publications within Product Support Engineering. You will oversee contracted work, ensure high quality outputs, and maintain contract compliance while coordinating with the Head of Product Support and subject matter experts.

The role requires leadership experience, a proactive approach, and strong collaboration with senior stakeholders across programmes.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain UK Security Check clearance.
• Working knowledge of ASD S1000D and/or AVP-70.
• Strong communication and collaborative approach.
• Drive and sustain First Time Quality.
• Experience applying risk and reliability management systems.
• Stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the execution of contracted Technical Publications work.
• Ensure publication updates are developed with First Time Quality.
• Understand subject matter to create accurate, usable content with TLE.
• Ensure compliance with quality management and contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with engineering disciplines and senior stakeholders.
• Execute work aligned with safety, quality and programme requirements.
• Establish, monitor, and report on KPIs for Technical Publications.
• Support continuous improvement and process enhancements.
• Contribute to safety culture, diversity, coaching, STEM outreach.
