Job summary

Boeing Defence UK is seeking a Technical Publications Manager to lead publication activities within Product Support Engineering in the UK. You will ensure outputs are accurate, compliant and delivered on time, while supporting First Time Quality across updates. Report to the Head of Product Support and work with senior specialists.

The role requires awareness of safety, quality standards, and contractual obligations, with opportunities to mentor staff and contribute to diverse initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain UK Security Check clearance.
• Experience with technical publications processes.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.
• Deliver First Time Quality.
• Leadership in cross-functional teams.
• Experience with risk and reliability management.
• Proficient with MS Word and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the execution of contracted Technical Publications work.
• Ensure publication updates are delivered with a focus on First Time Quality.
• Work with the TLE to create accurate, compliant content.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems and contracts.
• Collaborate with engineering disciplines and stakeholders to ensure consistency.
• Execute work within safety, quality, and programme requirements.
• Establish, monitor, and report on KPI for publications.
• Support continuous improvement and process enhancements.
• Contribute to safety culture, Diversity and Inclusion, mentoring and STEM outreach.
• Provide leadership and support to team members.
