Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience developing technical proposals, engineering solutions, or commercial offers within industrial, power generation, energy, or automation environments.
• Knowledge of electrical-based control systems, industrial networks, cybersecurity principles, and network redundancy architectures.
• Ability to interpret electrical power system designs, generator control systems, switchgear configurations, and technical specifications.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the technical focal point throughout the tendering process for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop full lifecycle upgrade, modification, retrofit, and replacement solutions for control systems.
• Provide technical support through all stages of the tendering process, from concept development through proposal submission and project handover.
• Create optimal technical solutions that satisfy Critical to Quality (CTQ) requirements.
• Support risk mitigation, product development, lifecycle management, and obsolescence planning.
• Produce technical documentation including functional specs, system architecture diagrams, I/O schedules, equipment lists, and bid support docs.
• Review customer specifications and provide clarifications while identifying opportunities to add customer value.
• Identify and communicate technical, delivery, and quality risks throughout tendering lifecycle.
• Evaluate existing control systems and recommend upgrade or replacement solutions for third-party systems.
• Support commercial and tendering activities while developing customer-focused technical solutions and contributing to business growth.

To be successful in this role you will

• - Have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
• - Have experience developing technical proposals, engineering solutions, or commercial offers within industrial, power generation, energy, or automation environments.
• - Have knowledge of electrical-based control systems, industrial communication networks, cybersecurity principles, and network redundancy architectures.
• - Have the ability to interpret electrical power system designs, generator control systems, switchgear configurations, and technical specifications.
• - Have experience reviewing customer requirements and translating them into practical and commercially viable engineering solutions.
• - Have awareness of commercial considerations, customer requirements, and market-driven product development strategies.
• - Have an interest in developing a career within technical sales, tendering, proposal engineering, and customer solution development.
• - Have excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• - Have the ability to work effectively with engineering, commercial, project management, and product teams to deliver winning proposals.
