Job summary

Savant Recruitment is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead delivery of critical DNS infrastructure lifecycle projects for a major UK telecommunications organisation.

This role requires a PM with a strong understanding of enterprise DNS platforms and experience delivering complex network infrastructure projects within telecoms or ISP environments.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering DNS infrastructure projects within telecommunications or ISP environments.
• Strong understanding of Authoritative DNS, Recursive DNS, DNS Cache and DNS Security platforms.
• Experience with enterprise DNS solutions such as Infoblox, BIND, BlueCat or equivalent.
• Experience delivering DNS platform upgrades, migrations or lifecycle refresh programmes.
• Good understanding of DNS architecture, DNS resolution, caching, delegation and zone management.
• Knowledge of Core IP networking, IPv4/IPv6, DHCP and IP Address Management (IPAM).
• Understanding of DNSSEC, DDoS mitigation, DNS resilience and network monitoring.
• Knowledge of telecoms security controls and experience supporting secure, resilient network infrastructure.
• Agile delivery experience (SAFe, Scrum or similar).
• Excellent stakeholder management, governance, vendor management and communication skills.

Responsibilities
