Job summary

Convergint seeks a Project Manager for hybrid work in the London area. You will direct projects from award to completion, coordinating installation, procurement and start-up with a focus on budget, schedule and client satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, planning and communication skills, with experience in building automation or related technical fields. Travel to sites will be involved as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in engineering, field service or project management.
• Experience in electronics, fire alarm, life safety or building automation preferred.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates projects from award to completion, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.
• Translates customer needs into detailed proposals and implementation plans.
• Communicates requirements to project teams and maintains accurate status records.
• Represents our customer-focused service approach at all times.
• Identifies project risks and develops strategies to minimize impact on scope and cost.
• Keeps customers updated on schedules and changes to improve satisfaction.
• Oversees procurement of materials and services for timely completion within budget.
• Establishes milestones and analyzes costs, reporting variances and forecasts.
• Manages scope of work, terms, and conditions in contracts and cost control.
• May supervise staff and mentor colleagues; participates in hiring and planning.
• Performs other duties as required.
