Job Opportunity: Project Manager / Technical Project Manager

We are seeking to immediately hire a Project Manager / Technical Project Manager with experience in managing technical projects from conception to production. The ideal candidate will have expertise in NPI, OEM, and Tier 1 manufacturing, with a background in Electro Mechanical, Electronics, or Design.

As the Project Manager, you should come from a technical background and have experience working within engineering, manufacturing, electronics, electrical, automotive, aerospace, agricultural vehicle, machinery, Off Highway vehicle, or medical equipment sectors.

Business & Global Reach

The business is an established market leader in its field, covering OEM, Retro-Fit, and Aftermarket sectors. It leads innovation in product design and development for lifesaving products to enhance vehicle safety, operating globally across multiple countries.

Target Experience

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Managing NPI Projects within major technical sectors and the ability to lead multiple projects while building relationships with colleagues and customers.

Location & Salary

Locations include Kent, Greenwich, Crawley, Biggin Hill, Hornchurch, Upminster, Romford, Brentwood, Laindon, Dagenham, Surrey Quays, Rochester, Basildon, Ilford, Dartford, Gillingham, Bromley, Greenwich, Croydon, Sevenoaks, Orpington, and Epsom.

Salary: Circa £45k – £65k DOE plus bonus, car/allowance, pension (up to 5%), private medical, eye care vouchers, employee assistance program, 25 days holidays (increasing by 1 day every 2 years), and hybrid working.

Key Skills

• Minimum 2 to 3 years NPI Project Management experience.
• Ability to manage projects from cradle to grave.
• Technical background in Electronics, Mechanical, Electro Mechanical, or Design.
• Understanding of the production life cycle.
• Experience leading engineering teams and supporting other departments.
• Knowledge of working with OEM and Tier 1 customers.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Qualifications: BTEC, HNC, City & Guilds, or equivalent in engineering or science disciplines.
