Position Summary

We are hiring a Project Manager to join a dynamic Technology & Operations team based in London. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and the drive to thrive in an evolving environment. This is a high-impact role within a global technology function, requiring someone who can manage projects with minimal oversight while contributing to broader IT strategy and process improvement initiatives.

You will be managing technical projects within a Global Information Technology portfolio. This role demands a hands-on problem solver who can manage multiple workstreams, navigate ambiguity, and collaborate closely with engineering teams. A passion for new technologies and a strong understanding of the end-user experience are key to success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage and drive projects forward, identifying blockers, securing team commitments, and ensuring delivery of high-quality outcomes.
  • Champion active learning and knowledge sharing to contribute to the team’s growth.
  • Apply computer science fundamentals and problem-solving techniques to offer input on technical challenges.
  • Efficiently use available resources to deliver business value and improve internal productivity.
  • Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences, providing clarity, transparency, and actionable updates.
  • Adapt to changing environments, balancing project planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrate initiative and ownership by using business data to drive project direction and decisions.
  • Foster transparency and collaboration by openly sharing insights, challenges, and learnings.

Requirements

  • A clear understanding of project management value and experience driving company-wide goals through structured planning and execution.
  • Proven ability to align project goals with organisational strategy.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget planning, forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills adaptable across engineering teams and executive leadership.
  • Experience building processes, selecting tools, and driving results across a tech organisation.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a project manager, with formal training (Agile, PMP, Prince2, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Full project lifecycle experience: requirements, planning, execution, stakeholder communication, and retrospectives.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong judgment and decision-making capabilities.
  • Good foundational understanding of IT systems, including service management, infrastructure, security, networking, AV, messaging, and telephony.
  • Willingness to travel (Europe) as needed, including occasional weekend work.
  • Experience delivering infrastructure projects in a media, broadcast, or technology environment is a strong advantage.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
