Job summary

Digital Gurus in Meltham is seeking an experienced Technical Project Lead to drive cross-functional delivery for a major retailer. You will manage B2B onboarding, API integrations and digital platform projects, working with Product, Technology, Commercial and Operations to deliver value.

This hands-on role emphasizes practical delivery processes, governance, and proactive stakeholder management, with exposure to senior leadership and opportunities to shape delivery frameworks in a growing SME.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical project management, digital delivery or business change.
• Experience delivering software implementations, API integrations or digital platform projects.
• Strong background working with development teams and external clients or partners.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Experience introducing delivery frameworks, RAID management and go-live processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• A hands-on, collaborative approach, ideally gained within a growing SME or technology business.

Responsibilities

• Build realistic project plans, managing milestones, dependencies, risks and budgets.
• Introduce simple, effective governance and reporting processes.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, remove blockers and ensure operational readiness.
• Provide clear delivery updates to senior leadership.

Location: Meltham (Hybrid, 2 days per week)

We’ve partnered with a well-known retailer whose influence is continuing to expand in the north-west and wider nation. Reporting directly into the senior leadership team, you’ll lead cross-functional projects spanning B2B client onboarding, technical integrations and business transformation. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll help establish practical delivery processes, working closely with Product, Technology, Commercial and Operations.
