An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technology Project Manager to join a growing organisation undertaking a major site expansion and transformation programme. With ambitious plans to develop a large, multi-purpose area incorporating new buildings, offices and supporting infrastructure, technology will play a critical role in enabling the organisation’s future growth.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of technology projects that will help shape how a complex, evolving environment operates - from infrastructure and connectivity through to business systems, data and the technology-enabled workplace.
We’re particularly interested in candidates who have delivered technology implementations, upgrades, revamps or modernisation projects associated with new-build developments, office relocations, campus expansions or the transformation of large, complex workplaces (or adjacent environments - such as commercial property, universities, research facilities and large corporate estates).
You’ll understand the coordination required across technology, estates, facilities, suppliers and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are delivered successfully and are ready for operational use.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will take end-to-end responsibility for assigned technology projects, managing delivery from initial scoping and mobilisation through to implementation, acceptance, operational handover and closure.
Working across a varied portfolio of initiatives, you will coordinate internal teams and third-party suppliers, maintain robust project controls, manage budgets and dependencies, and ensure projects are delivered against agreed scope, timescales and quality expectations.
Key responsibilities will include:
You’ll be a delivery-focused Project Manager with a strong track record of implementing complex technology solutions in multi-stakeholder environments. You’ll be comfortable managing suppliers, technical teams and business stakeholders, bringing structure and control to projects with multiple dependencies.
Ideally, you will have experience delivering technology projects in one or more of the following environments:
Experience in property technology, smart buildings, IoT, Microsoft cloud data platforms or integration would be advantageous.
