Job summary

Siemens Energy in the United Kingdom is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead delivery of PLC projects within the Gas Services unit. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and Engineering teams to define requirements and strategies for safe, on-time execution.

Ideally, you have a bachelor’s in Engineering and 3+ years in an engineering environment with project management experience, plus familiarity with OnePM or MSP to drive delivery and governance across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; 3+ years in an engineering design/execution environment, ideally gas turbine design.
• Project management experience with AGILE or PMP certifications is advantageous.
• Familiarity with project planning IT tools like OnePM or MSP.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and governance of R&D and ICS projects through the full lifecycle.
• Define project scope, requirements, business benefits, and success criteria with stakeholders.
• Develop plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts using OnePM.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Service, Procurement, and Commercial.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with Siemens Energy standards.

Join our dynamic team as a Technical Project Manager within the Product Life Cycle (PLC) Project Management Office! In this role, you will take charge of delivering and executing projects that align with Siemens Energy’s strategic goals to protect, grow, and decarbonize our SGT Gas Turbine products and services. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and Engineering teams to define project requirements and develop effective delivery strategies. Your leadership will guide cross-functional teams through the project lifecycle, ensuring that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with established quality frameworks. How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead the delivery and governance of R&D and ICS projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, business benefits, and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts using OnePM.
• Manage project performance across key areas including scope, cost, schedule, quality, and risk.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Service, Procurement, and Commercial functions to ensure successful project outcomes.

What You Bring

• Strong ownership and leadership skills, with a self-motivated and dynamic approach to work.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred, along with 3+ years of experience in an Engineering design/execution environment, ideally in Gas Turbine Design.
• Project Management experience, with certifications such as AGILE or PMP being advantageous.
• Familiarity with gas turbine products and experience using project planning IT solutions like OnePM or MSP.
