Job summary

Luxoft Germany seeks a Project Manager / Business Analyst for a UK subsidiary client in financial services. You will blend project management, business analysis, and process improvement to drive transformation, operational efficiency, and technology delivery.

You will map workflows, document requirements and data flows, run workshops, create BRDs and process maps, and ensure governance and stakeholder engagement across business, operations, and IT.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in BA/PM/Process Analyst or related role in Banking, FS, Operations or Change Delivery.
• Experience analysing operational processes and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Strong process mapping and workflow documentation skills.
• Experience documenting business and functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, tracking, governance, and reporting activities.
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements via workshops and interviews.
• Analyse current-state and future-state processes; translate requirements into specs.

Our client is a UK subsidiary of a global financial house working in multiple markets and asset classes. We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager / Business Analyst to support business transformation, operational improvement, and technology delivery initiatives. The successful candidate will combine project management, business analysis, and process improvement skills to help drive efficient delivery of projects and operational change. The role requires strong analytical and documentation capabilities, with the ability to understand operational processes, identify simplification opportunities, map business workflows, analyse data flows, and support stakeholders in defining business and technical requirements. This position is ideal for an individual who can bridge the gap between business and technology teams while maintaining strong governance, documentation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Project Management Support
• Support project planning, tracking, governance, and reporting activities.
• Prepare project status updates, meeting minutes, RAID logs, action trackers, and steering committee materials.
• Coordinate activities across business, operations, technology, and third-party teams.
• Monitor project progress against milestones and escalated risks or dependencies where required.
• Support delivery managers and programme managers in maintaining project controls and governance standards.
• Ability to use Microsoft project and starter level AI/Chat GPT/ Teams componentsBusiness Analysis
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements through workshops and stakeholder interviews.
• Analyse current-state and future-state business processes.
• Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements.
• Support solution design discussions by providing business context and process understanding.

• Support continuous improvement and Lean/Kaizen initiatives.
• Process Mapping & Data Analysis
• Create high-level and detailed process flow diagrams using recognised modelling techniques.
• Develop current-state and target-state process maps.
• Understand and document:

• Produce data mapping documentation between source and target systems.
• Identify data dependencies, transformation rules, and control points within business processes.

• Facilitate workshops and gather information from subject matter experts.
• Communicate complex information in a clear and structured manner.

SKILLS

Must have

• 2-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Project Manager, Process Analyst, or related role within Banking, Financial Services, Operations, Technology, or Change Delivery environments.
• Experience analysing operational processes and identifying process improvement opportunities.
• Strong process mapping and workflow documentation skills.
• Understanding of end-to-end business processes and operational controls.
• Experience documenting business requirements and functional requirements.
• Ability to understand and document data flows and data mappings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
