Job summary

DNA is a leading live events production company seeking a Technical Project Manager to join its projects team in Hertfordshire. You will own projects from client brief through to on-site delivery, balancing technical expertise with strong client relations and budget awareness.

You'll work across lighting, audio and video, coordinating internal teams, suppliers and freelance crews to ensure safe, high-quality results on a range of high-profile events.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a Technical Project Manager in live events, production or AV.
• Strong knowledge of at least one technical discipline (lighting, audio or video).
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and equipment specifications.
• Commercially aware with budgets and quotations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Technical Project Manager

Hertfordshire | Full-time | £60,000–£65,000

A leading live events production company is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join its growing projects team.

Working across a diverse portfolio of live events, brand activations and corporate productions, you'll take ownership of projects from the initial client brief through to onsite delivery. This is a role for someone who enjoys balancing technical expertise with project management, building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional live experiences.

The Role: As Technical Project Manager, you'll work closely with clients to understand their objectives, develop practical technical solutions and oversee every stage of project delivery. You'll coordinate internal teams, suppliers and freelance crew, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and within budget.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across lighting, audio and video, leading technical delivery while remaining commercially focused throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

About You

• Previous experience as a Technical Project Manager within live events, production or AV
• Strong technical knowledge in at least one discipline, with a good working understanding of lighting, audio and video systems
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Confident producing technical documentation and equipment specifications
• Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and quotations
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• AutoCAD experience is advantageous
• Full UK driving licence preferred
