Yolk Recruitment is hiring a Technical Project Manager for an initial 6-month contract with potential extensions in Filton.

Main responsibilities include:

• Defining and designing solutions for R&T projects.
• Supporting ATI/DDMS funded R&T projects such as COSINC (Composite Smart Industrial Control) with documentation and implementation.
• Assessing digital needs of research partners.
• Sharing best practices from previous R&T projects in the digital factory domain.
• Documenting architectural requirements to support new business features and capabilities.
• Analyzing design decisions within an economic framework.

Accountabilities:

• Proactively defining future IT applications and validating product designs.
• Collaborating with system or solution architects and research partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Creating models and architecture patterns to promote reuse and guide decisions.
• Aligning architecture strategies with long-term planning and business objectives.
• Setting standards for IT implementation and use within the organization.
• Supporting future business needs, including export control, application convergence, data analytics, and machine learning.

Additional information:

• This role may involve travel and onsite work at the National Composite Centre.

Required skills and experience:

• Knowledge of design, manufacturing, support, and services domains.
