Legal & General, a leading UK financial services group, is seeking an experienced Technical Project Lead to drive a major five-year transformation within Group Protection. You will own day-to-day delivery across technology, business and supplier teams, turning complex status reports into clear actions for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale technical transformation programmes.
• Delivered complex technology programmes of £10m+.
• Hands-on with Jira and Confluence to validate progress.
• Experience across engineering teams, business stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SAFe or hybrid delivery environments.
• Strong governance, risk, dependencies and financial management.
• Clear communicator for senior/executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Leading day-to-day delivery across a complex legacy transformation programme.
• Coordinating engineering, business, architecture and third‑party supplier workstreams.
• Validating progress, scope and delivery evidence directly through Jira and Confluence.
• Managing plans, milestones, budgets, risks, issues and cross‑programme dependencies.
• Driving Agile planning, backlog management, prioritisation and release coordination.
• Preparing clear executive presentations, governance updates and decision materials.
• Facilitating governance forums and ensuring actions and decisions are followed through.
• Building trusted relationships across business and technology teams to remove blockers.
