Job summary

Unipart Technologies Group is seeking a Technical Project Lead Engineer to drive customer product development from concept to mass production within a mechatronics environment.

You will act as a technical liaison between product development teams and customers, oversee testing and validation, and support program launches with cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing and design.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electronical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable education.
• Ideally experience in automotive engineering for complex mechatronics systems.
• Blow molding or injection molding product design knowledge including welding and assembly is a strong plus.
• Willingness for frequent business travels.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer product from concept through prototyping, validation and mass production.
• Provide technical liaison between product development teams and customer plus internal functions.
• Supervise product testing and interpret results to meet requirements.
• Support launches by planning and controlling technical issues and assisting the Program Manager.
• Act as Technical Project Lead Engineer with responsibility for a technical team on small/medium complex projects.
