Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a senior engineer to lead end-to-end technical delivery of vehicle programmes and act as the technical authority for the complete vehicle. You will own vehicle-level integration and performance across chassis, suspension, steering, and braking, ensuring safety, durability and regulatory compliance through concept, design, validation and production.

You will lead cross-functional engineering from concept to production, translate requirements into system targets, manage risks

Qualifications

Significant experience in vehicle integration and vehicle-level engineering delivery.
Strong track record delivering production-ready vehicles in regulated environments.
Experience leading cross-functional engineering from concept to production.
Hands-on validation leadership across rig/track/road campaigns.
Solid CAD, GD&T, FMEA, and design documentation discipline.
Confident communicator with customers and stakeholders; able to lead multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Own vehicle integration, architecture and attribute delivery (ride & handling, steering, braking, NVH).
Lead cross-functional engineering from concept to production; translate requirements into system targets.
Define and execute vehicle-level DVP&R for dynamics, durability, steering and braking validation.
Oversee prototypes, builds and test campaigns (rig/track/road) and manage risks.
Lead design reviews, maintain artefacts (DVP&R, FMEA, specs, test plans) and sign-off readiness.
Align chassis/powertrain/EE/body teams; represent engineering in customer reviews and audits.
