Job summary

DXC Technology in Farnborough is seeking a Project Technical Authority to provide technical leadership across a portfolio of software change projects. You will shape technical solutions, guide engineering teams and ensure delivery from concept through customer acceptance.

You will work with Project Managers, Product Design Authorities and SMEs to own technical planning, requirements, and delivery priorities, in a collaborative Agile environment that supports both UK and international customers.

Qualifications

Experience leading technical activities across the software development lifecycle.
Experience in Agile delivery environments using Scrum and/or Kanban.
Strong requirements gathering and analysis skills translating customer needs into system/software requirements.
Ability to estimate work, identify risks and manage technical dependencies.
Experience in Functional and Object-Oriented design.
Strong review and assurance skills (design/code walkthroughs).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Collaborative across multidisciplinary teams; eligible for UK security requirements.

Responsibilities

Define and guide technical solutions from requirements through to delivery and customer acceptance.
Break down complex technical scope into manageable work packages for Agile teams.
Create and maintain project engineering plans and technical backlogs.
Collaborate with Software, Systems and Operations SMEs to define requirements and acceptance criteria.
Ensure alignment with product strategy and architectural direction.
Support design reviews and risk management activities.
Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor progress and clearly communicate risks and dependencies to stakeholders.
Support customer engagement alongside project teams.
Ensure verification and validation activities support qualification and acceptance.
