Job summary

Engine by Starling is hiring a Technical Programme Manager to deliver strategic programmes across a technical domain. You will coordinate with Engineering, Product, and external partners to manage end-to-end delivery, scalability, and client requirements in a fast-paced fintech environment.

You will partner with engineering leads and product teams, driving realistic plans, risk management, and progress reporting while working in a hybrid model based near London.

Qualifications

• End-to-end project or programme management experience in tech or financial services.
• Proven ability to deliver complex technical solutions with engineering and product teams.
• Hands-on and adaptable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to convey complex topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage a technical programme portfolio across multiple inter-dependent projects.
• Coordinate with Engineering Leads to support SDLC and realistic planning.
• Balance client needs with internal capacity and timelines.
• Own relationships with external vendors and payment schemes; ensure high-quality delivery.
• Provide reporting and metrics on progress and track against plans.
• Continuously monitor processes and drive improvements.
