Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Data Center Network Infrastructure Construction to lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs from inception through completion. You will plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and clearly communicate with cross-functional partners and executives.

Based in the Google data-center ecosystem, you will collaborate with stakeholders across regions to ensure on-time delivery, adherence to budgets, and successful implementation of

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management, leading multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Experience with facility electrical and mechanical systems relative to network infrastructure.
  • Experience with design build processes.
Preferred qualifications:
  • RCDD, PMP, or similar industry certifications.
  • OSHA certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree, Master's, or PhD in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, related degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working in data centers or similar mission critical environments where work involves impact to core functionalities and is governed with formal change control processes.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling, and achieving objectives on schedule and within budget.

Austria: €116000 - €118000 (EUR) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
Finland: €98000 - €100000 (EUR) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • Support cross-functional partner teams and site-based execution teams through Subject Matter Expert (SME) technical guidance, and serve as a regional liaison for program management team.
  • Partner with internal and external teams, help develop and socialize processes and procedures to enable the team to operate efficiently with consistent results.
  • Be responsible for gathering internal requirements and delivering solutions that satisfy customer's needs.
  • Resolve highly critical issues within matrix organization while maintaining rigorous adherence to project timelines and costs.
