As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and guide projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and communicating them to project stakeholders. You are equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. Using the technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes, and driving the technical directions of your programs.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and prioritize customer needs and challenges, and help develop tailored strategies to address them.
  • Collaborate with globally distributed teams to manage and drive the development and delivery of enterprise network engineering products, utilizing automation and software programs to provide efficient network services to customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders within the product areas, including programs, engineers, and products.
  • Advocate for the customer within Google Enterprise Network (GEN) and across Google, ensuring that customer needs are prioritized.
  • Collaborate with Network Engineers, Software Engineers, and Project Managers to deliver technical networking projects.
