Job description

What You’ll Do
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Manage the end-to-end delivery of operations and design automation initiatives, serving as the primary intake coordinator for stakeholder requests and ensuring projects progress smoothly across distributed teams.
  • Shape the Automation Roadmap: Guide the prioritization of automation initiatives by translating creative needs into technical requirements, identifying new opportunities, and balancing innovation with sustainable delivery.
  • Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a central coordination point, fostering seamless communication and collaboration between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders across various global locations.
  • Champion Creative Workflows: Advocate for designer needs and creative workflows in technical planning, synthesizing pain points, and mapping them to innovative AI/ML solutions.
  • Maintain Knowledge & Consistency: Establish and maintain a centralized team knowledge base, providing program‑level documentation, and supporting team onboarding for workflow consistency.
  • Support Strategic Growth: Offer flexible capacity to assist with broader strategic operations, governance work, research synthesis, and evolving coordination needs.
Must‑Have Qualifications
  • Strong experience in technical program management, engineering project management, or operations roles, with a focus on developer/designer tooling.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, cross‑functional projects involving 10+ person teams and multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML tools and platforms, including large language models (LLMs), retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) systems, vector databases, prompt engineering, and API integration.
  • Exceptional ability to translate between technical and creative disciplines, effectively communicating with engineers and collaborating with designers.
  • Demonstrated capability to work autonomously and manage projects across distributed teams in multiple time zones.
  • Proficiency with project tracking systems and workflow management tools.
  • Outstanding communication skills, enabling effective presentations to leadership, workshops with designers, and documentation for distributed teams.
Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications
  • Hands‑on experience with design tools or creative production workflows.
  • Experience building or managing internal tools, understanding the unique challenges of creating for internal customers.
  • API/platform experience, including managing extensible systems that other teams depend on.
  • Familiarity with design‑centric organizational environments and their principles.
  • Background in design operations, creative operations, or entertainment production pipelines.
  • Track record of identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks in ambiguous, rapidly‑evolving contexts.
  • Systems thinking experience, with the ability to understand how tools integrate into broader workflows.
