Job summary

Google LLC in London is seeking a Technical Program Manager for the CDN team to lead multi-disciplinary projects from planning to delivery. You will coordinate across engineering, networks, and product stakeholders to define requirements, schedules, and success metrics.

As part of the Technical Infrastructure group, you will help ensure reliable, scalable CDN delivery worldwide, driving improvements and communicating tradeoffs to executives and engineers alike.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program management working across a cross-functional organization.
• Experience in network planning, architecture, or design with a technology or telecommunications company.

Responsibilities

• Lead pipeline development, network planning, hardware configuration, workflow automation, data management, analytics and AI tooling development efforts for the global CDN organization.
• Identify areas of process improvement, drive cross functional change management, scale processes and operations, contribute towards E2E process development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the scope, objectives, and deliverables of edge capacity delivery projects to support on-net CDN devices, GGC and peering growth and performance requirements.
• Identify, assess, and proactively manage risks specific to edge capacity delivery, such as hardware delays, site access issues, power constraints, and potential disruptions during upgrades.
• Understand and align project activities with the overall strategy and goals of the organization.
