Job summary

Blank Space Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Technical Production Manager to join a corporate events live agency. You will oversee technical production on smaller to mid-sized projects, contribute to quotes and specs, and coordinate with the team from client brief to on-site delivery.

You will travel to UK venues, supervise setup, and ensure smooth delivery of AV, lighting and stage elements. A driving license and car are essential to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong technical understanding across audio, video, lighting, set and stage.
• Experience using CAD software, ideally Vectorworks.
• Ability to manage projects end-to-end and liaise with venues and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead running of smaller and mid-sized projects from a technical production perspective.
• Input technical quotes and specifications and liaise with event management.
• Be the main point of contact between client and warehouse; organise crewing and logistics.
• Go on-site to oversee setup and smooth delivery of technical production.

With a breath of AV and production equipment they deliver events mainly in the UK and some international. Due to expansion we are supporting with the hire of a Technical Production Manager to join their busy team.

The role

As a mid-weight Technical Production Manager you will lead the running of smaller and mid sized projects from a technical production perspective and support the team with larger. From inputting into technical quotes and specifications, to liaising with the event management team you will be the key POC between the client and the warehouse as well as organising crewing and logistics. Going on-site to oversee set up and smooth delivery of the technical production will also be key.

About you

We are seeking a strong technical understanding across the disciplines of audio, video, lighting, set & stage with experience in using some CAD software, ideally Vectorworks. You will be client facing and have the ability to manage projects end to end as well as speaking to venues and suppliers. You will travel on site to mainly UK events, and a car and driving license is essential to apply.
