Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Winnersh, United Kingdom, is seeking a Principal Specialist, Product and Technical Service. You will work with customers to understand needs, configure software solutions, and provide tier 3 support within an Agile SCRUM team. Some international travel is possible, with on-site work in Winnersh.

The role emphasizes collaboration across stakeholders and training delivery, with a focus on aviation software products and customer success.

Qualifications

Experience in a similar role is essential.
Ability to seek out, understand and communicate customer requirements effectively.
Collaborative and proactive approach to working within a customer facing role.
Able to travel internationally.
Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
Experience of and/or ability to provide technical support and configuration of software solutions.

Responsibilities

Understand business and product needs with customers.
Configure software solutions to meet customer requirements.
Troubleshoot installation, usage, upgrades and training of products.
Create requirements/user stories and communicate to the development team.
Refine and prioritise user stories/requirements as needs change.
Provide tier 3 technical troubleshooting support.
Support user acceptance testing when required.
Support customer training onsite or at customer premises.
Document business and product processes for compliance with process and quality.
Work within an Agile SCRUM development environment.
