Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Backend Engineer in the Chief Technology Office to help build cutting-edge AI platforms. You will work with product owners and engineers to design high-performance backend systems using Python and cloud services.

You will contribute to AI/ML solutions, implement CI/CD pipelines, and adopt IaC practices with Terraform and CloudFormation, Docker/Kubernetes. Collaboration with stakeholders and adherence to Barclays' values will be essential.

Qualifications

• Experience building backend services using Python.
• Experience with AWS for deploying scalable backend systems.
• Familiarity with Git, Agile, and automated testing.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes containerisation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
