Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer to design, develop and improve software, leveraging AI/ML, full‑stack engineering and modern delivery practices to provide business, platform and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues.

You will translate complex business problems into technical solutions, work with stakeholders, build production systems with Python, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), APIs and CI/CD, and participate in code reviews to uphold quality and secure coding

Qualifications

Experience deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments.
Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions with stakeholder involvement.
Proficiency in Python and cloud-based development (AWS/Azure).
Experience with MLOps, model deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver high-quality software using industry-standard languages, frameworks, and tools.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and align with business objectives.
