Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product management or similar roles, ideally in Sports Betting or FinTech.
• Proven experience with real-time high-throughput platforms.
• Strong understanding of betting markets and sports betting intricacies.
• A solid technical foundation with knowledge of modern architectures, microservices, and APIs.
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Familiar with messaging systems like Kafka and distributed databases.

Description

As a Technical Product Manager Betting Platform you will play a key role in supporting the evolution of Caesars Digitals Betting Engine and related services. Youll collaborate with product leaders engineering and trading teams to help modernize and enhance our platform contributing to a seamless and engaging betting experience for our customers across all channels.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid technical foundation and a growing understanding of the sports betting domain. Technically you need a sound understanding of high-performance real-time systems to deliver a robust scalable solution for the future.

This role is hybrid working a minimum of 2-3 days per week from your home office location.

What Youll Do

• Contribute to the product roadmap for the Betting Engine focusing on performance scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with Pricing / Trading teams to support platform enhancements aligned with quarterly and annual goals.
• Maintain working knowledge of the Betting Engines architecture and functionality supporting the engineers in prioritizing those efforts against product development.
• Assist in managing technical debt and support initiatives to optimize or refactor platform components.
• Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with broader technical goals.
• Facilitate integration efforts with adjacent systems including our frontend mobile experience kiosk experience and compliance.
• Support analytics and reporting needs by ensuring the platform enables relevant data capture.
• Translate business and customer needs into clear technical requirements for engineering teams.
• Manage and prioritize the Betting Engine backlog balancing stakeholder input and internal needs.
• Track and report on functional and non-functional key performance indicators (KPIs) such as trading update speed bet placement and bet settlement for a product that serves other business units as well as the end customer.
• Communicate progress risks and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership.

What You Bring

• 25 years of experience in product management or a related role ideally in Sports Betting iGaming FinTech or high-performance systems.
• Proven experience managing real-time high-throughput platforms with a focus on reliability and scalability.
• Strong understanding of betting markets odds and the intricacies of Sports Betting engines is a significant advantage.
• A strong technical foundation with an understanding of modern architectures microservices and APIs.
• Experience working with high-transaction low-latency systems in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka distributed databases and caching strategies is a plus.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to balance competing priorities and foster cross-team collaboration.
• Strong communication skills capable of bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
