Job summary

HUKM is seeking a Technical Product Manager in London to guide backend- and API-driven product delivery. You will manage pods of engineers, translate business needs into technical solutions, and ensure alignment with product goals.

You will be hands-on with architecture trade-offs, drive sprint rituals, and engage with clients to defend product choices while maintaining delivery momentum.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in technical product management.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and translate to technical specs.
• Lead development pods of 15–20 engineers for delivery.
• Define product roadmaps, prioritise features and maintain backlogs.
• Design and document API specs, data models, and architecture.
• Run sprint ceremonies and manage agile processes.
• Make trade-off decisions balancing value, debt, and constraints.
• Review specs and API designs against goals.
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and stakeholders for integration.
• Define and track product metrics and KPIs for back-end systems.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and roadmap changes to stakeholders.
• Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies across streams.
• Coach pods for continuous improvement.
