Synergi Search & Select represents a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing client seeking a Technical Operator for a fast-paced, regulated environment. You will set up, calibrate and changeover production machinery, assist with fault finding, and support conveyors, pumps and packaging equipment across multiple lines.
Working on a double-day shift with no nights, you’ll maintain quality, safety and housekeeping standards while collaborating closely with Engineering and Production teams to sustain

We are seeking an Technical Operatorto join a fast-paced, highly regulated manufacturing environment. Working on automated production and packaging equipment, you will support machine set-up, product changeovers, adjustments and basic fault finding across multiple production lines. This is a mechanically biased role, with no night shifts, working on a double-day shift pattern.
Set up, adjust and calibrate production machinery
Carry out product changeovers and equipment adjustments
Support basic mechanical fault finding and problem solving
Work with pumps, valves, nozzles, conveyors and packaging equipment
Support the smooth and efficient running of production lines
Carry out equipment cleaning and washdowns
Work safely around automated machinery
Maintain high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping
Collaborate closely with Engineering and Production teams
Experience working with machinery in a manufacturing or production environment
Experience with machinery set-up, adjustment and/or product changeovers
Basic mechanical fault-finding experience
An understanding of automated production equipment
Basic electrical awareness and the ability to work safely around electrical equipment
Good numerical and communication skills
A positive, reliable and dependable approach
A willingness to learn and develop
A strong team-focused attitude
Mechanical Engineering qualification
Electrical qualification or relevant electrical training
Experience within pharmaceutical, FMCG, food, packaging or general manufacturing
Experience working with automated production and packaging machinery
