A leading council in Glasgow seeks a motivated Graduate of BSc Environmental Health to join the Environmental Health service. Hours: 35 hours per week
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate of BSc Environmental Health with Professional Practice from the University of the West of Scotland and who is due to sit their professional examination for the REHIS Diploma in Environmental Health, in October 2025.
Based within both the Business Regulation and Public Health teams, you work independently to contribute to the delivery of the Environmental Health service within Glasgow.
The Successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply for an Environmental Health Officer role within the council following the award of a Diploma in Environmental Health.
A Degree in Environmental Health with Professional Practice, flexible approach to working, IT skills and a working knowledge of the role of an Environmental Health Officer within a local authority setting are essential.
The Council is currently piloting hybrid home/office working in line with government guidelines, offers excellent work/life balance, flexi time and flexible working hours options, and membership of the Local Government pension scheme.
This post is temporary for a period up to March 2026.
