Job summary

Wigan Council is seeking a Technical Officer in the Highways and Network Management Service. The role focuses on supporting development infrastructure delivery, assessing Section 38/278 submissions and ensuring adoptable standards for new roads.

Qualifications

• Experience in highways, civil engineering or development-related infrastructure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
• Able to assess technical submissions and manage highway development agreements (Section 38/278).
