Job summary

Hyde Group is seeking a Technical Manager for Renewable Heating & Solar PV in Brighton. The role is hybrid, with office-based Mondays and Thursdays, and offers progression in delivering low-carbon heating across Hyde's homes.

You will act as Hyde's technical expert, coordinating with contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure safe, compliant and effective renewable technologies for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical service delivery, contractor management and compliance.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and building services.
• Ability to analyse technical information and make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical oversight of Hyde's renewable heating and PV programmes.
• Manage contractors to ensure safe, quality service delivery.
• Review surveys, reports and estimates; provide challenge and assurance where needed.
• Investigate complex issues and identify cost-effective solutions.
• Monitor contractor performance, compliance and customer outcomes.
• Use data to identify trends and improve value for money.
