Hyde Group is seeking a Technical Manager for Renewable Heating & Solar PV in Brighton. The role is hybrid, with office-based Mondays and Thursdays, and offers progression in delivering low-carbon heating across Hyde's homes.
You will act as Hyde's technical expert, coordinating with contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure safe, compliant and effective renewable technologies for residents.
Would you like to join Hyde as our Technical Manager - Renewable Heating & Solar PV?
We're looking for a technically minded and customer-focused professional to lead the delivery and performance of Hyde's renewable heating, Solar PV and non-gas domestic energy systems across our homes.
This is not a hands-on engineering role. Instead, you'll act as Hyde's technical expert, working with contractors, suppliers, customers and internal teams to ensure our renewable technologies are safe, compliant, effective and delivering the best possible outcomes for residents.
You do not need to hold gas, heating, Solar PV or renewable qualifications to apply. We're interested in individuals with strong technical judgement, contractor management experience and a background in areas such as renewable energy, heat pumps, Solar PV, electrical services, building services, housing maintenance, compliance, technical support, asset management or service delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting Hyde's sustainability ambitions while ensuring residents receive an excellent service from some of the latest low-carbon technologies.
You'll bring strong technical awareness, excellent communication skills and the confidence to manage contractors, challenge recommendations and resolve complex customer issues.
Hyde owns and manages over 125,000 homes and is committed to creating safe, sustainable and affordable places for people to live.
As Technical Manager - Renewable Heating & Solar PV, you'll help shape and improve services that have a direct impact on residents' homes, comfort and energy efficiency. You'll join a collaborative organisation that's investing in sustainability, innovation and the future of low-carbon housing.
Equity, diversity and inclusion are central to life at Hyde. We're committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels respected, valued and able to be themselves.
We're proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and will provide reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process and within the workplace where required.
Please note: Candidates will be required to complete an online psychometric assessment prior to interview.
