Job summary

WR HVAC is seeking a Heat Pump Technical Manager to lead the company’s technical function across multi-project delivery in the UK. The role focuses on product performance, installation standards, compliance and customer support for renewable heating systems.

The ideal candidate will have a trade background (Gas/Heating/Heat Pump Engineer) with heat pump technology expertise, G3 and Water Regulations knowledge, and a proven ability to guide internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Heat pump qualifications and experience.
• G3 and Water Regulations knowledge.
• Excellent knowledge of installing and maintaining heat pumps.
• Ability to support internal teams and external customers technically.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

We are currently partnering with an innovative and fast-growing renewable technology business to recruit a Technical Manager to support the continued development of their technical and operational capabilities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong leader to join a business operating at the forefront of low-carbon heating solutions, supplying products into residential developments across the UK.

The ideal candidate will come from a trade background, preferably a Gas Engineer, Heating Engineer or Heat Pump Engineer who is looking to progress their career

The Role

As Technical Manager, you will take ownership of the company's technical function, supporting product performance, installation standards, compliance, and customer support across multiple projects.

You’ll work closely with internal departments including sales, operations, engineering, and customer support, while also acting as a senior technical contact for contractors, consultants, and developers.

The Package

• Base salary 50,000 - 60,000 depending on experience
• Yearly bonus scheme
