Job summary

Deverell Smith Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Technical Manager to lead the technical delivery of a large residential RC frame development in South London. You will drive design through Stage 3 to construction, oversee the Gateway process, and coordinate internal and external consultants to ensure regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years at Senior Technical Manager/Technical Manager level, strong RC frame expertise, and a track record on major residential schemes with autonomous

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience at Senior Technical Manager / Technical Manager level.
• Experience on large-scale residential developments.
• Background with residential developer/client or Tier 1/2 main contractor.
• Strong understanding of RC frame construction and technical delivery.
• Experience progressing design development into construction.
• BSR / Building Safety Act experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to own a project and work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of technical delivery for a large-scale residential RC frame scheme.
• Manage the project through Stage 3 design and into construction.
• Lead Gateway application process and ensure compliance with technical/regulatory requirements.
• Oversee design development, consultants and technical coordination.
• Collaborate with development, commercial and construction teams.
• Assist in building the technical/project team as the scheme progresses.
• Provide technical leadership through procurement, mobilisation and delivery.
• Identify and resolve technical issues across the lifecycle.
