Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Technical Manager for an onsite role in Gloucestershire/Cornwall. The position offers a salary of £60,000 to £70,000 per annum, plus bonus and 36 days holiday, with flexitime arrangements.

The role covers laboratory leadership, technical testing, and support for sales and proposals. You will supervise junior engineers, contribute to product development, and ensure adherence to HSE and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical role within engineering, equipment supply or mining-related sectors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee laboratory operations to ensure safe, cost-effective testing.
• Advise on technical aspects of client enquiries and proposals.
• Provide on-site commissioning, testing and maintenance support as required.
• Supervise junior engineers and laboratory staff in the technical department.
• Assist in design review and IOM manuals; support R&D of new products.
• Ensure compliance with all company procedures and HSE requirements.
