Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking an Applications / Process Engineer for a Cheltenham-based role offering a salary of £40,000–£45,000 and a Mon–Fri (8:00–16:30, early finish on Fridays) schedule. The role involves hands-on process development, customer interaction, and training across domestic and international projects.

You will work with customers, distributors and sales teams to deliver effective engineering solutions, develop specialist expertise, and support R&D and tooling development trials

Qualifications

• Engineering background required or closely related field.
• Technically minded with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Confident and professional with excellent communication skills.
• Able to work effectively with customers, distributors, agents, sales and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Carry out process development, demonstrations and development tests on the full range of machines.
• Ensure Trial Request forms are completed for every application.
• Update Applications Priority list and communicate progress to customers and Sales.
• Prepare and report test results and compile case study forms.
• Assist Sales and Engineering with feasibility reviews and training material creation.
• Train customers to operate machines (domestic and international) and support site visits for training and commissioning.
