Job summary
A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Technical Manager to join their Technical Team in the West of England. You will coordinate technical information across projects, ensuring compliance with building regulations and managing external consultants. Candidates should have a strong technical background in architectural or civil engineering, experience in the housebuilding industry, and proficiency in AutoCAD. The role offers a competitive salary of £75,000 per annum along with various benefits, including a bonus scheme and flexible working arrangements.
Qualifications
- Strong Technical knowledge base from a Technical Design background.
- Experience working in the housebuilding industry preferably with a high-volume house builder.
- Experience as a Technical Coordinator looking to step up or as a Technical Manager.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate technical information for projects from inception to completion.
- Manage and approve architectural and engineering drawings.
- Liaise with NHBC/LABC on Building Regulation matters.
Skills
Technical knowledge in architectural or civil engineering
Experience in housebuilding
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Understanding of building regulations
Project management skills
Education
HNC / HND in a construction related qualification
