Job summary

MorePeople is seeking a Technical Manager to own food safety, quality, compliance, and customer standards across our fresh produce operation. You will lead the Technical team, manage the Quality Management System, and collaborate with operational, commercial and customer-facing teams to meet certification and regulatory demands.

The role involves driving continuous improvement, leading audits, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and auditors to uphold product quality and site

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Technical Manager in fresh produce or similar

Responsibilities

• Lead the Technical team to drive engagement and high performance
• Maintain and improve Quality Management System, ensuring regulatory and customer compliance
• Lead customer and third-party audits and maintain BRCGS certification
• Develop and monitor technical KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Build strong relationships with customers, auditors, suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Stay up to date with industry legislation and retailer standards
