Job summary

Borough Broth is hiring a hands-on Technical Manager to lead day-to-day technical, food safety and quality at our Greenford site. You will drive the move to the new facility and embed high standards across the operation.

With SALSA to BRCGS certification as a key focus, you will develop the QMS, lead audits and build an audit-ready culture while collaborating with Production, Operations and Procurement to deliver safe, compliant and scalable products.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Technical Manager or senior technical role within food manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, food safety and quality management systems.
• Experience owning, developing and improving a site QMS.
• Experience with CAPA, root cause analysis and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day technical, food safety and quality operation across the site.
• Drive Borough Broth’s journey from SALSA to BRCGS certification, ensuring the business is prepared for and maintains the required standards.
• Own, develop and continually improve the site Quality Management System (QMS).
• Lead and maintain food safety, HACCP, allergen management and quality controls.
• Build an audit-ready, everyday culture, ensuring technical standards are embedded into normal factory operations.
