Job summary

Fawkes & Reece are recruiting an experienced Technical Manager to oversee technical delivery of façade, building envelope and fire safety projects from design through construction in Cardiff Bay and across the UK.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in façades, cladding, and external wall systems, with proven coordination experience with design consultants and construction teams. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Technical Manager or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of façade, cladding, building envelope or fire safety remediation.
• Experience coordinating with design consultants and construction teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of quality and construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical delivery of façade and building envelope projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, design information and construction details.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, subcontractors and clients.
• Provide technical support from design through construction.
• Ensure works meet specifications, regulations and project requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical issues with practical solutions.
• Review design changes and material specifications.
• Support procurement and installation teams with technical guidance.
• Attend design and project meetings as required.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and records.
