Job summary
Ainscough Crane Hire Lancaster is seeking an experienced Technical Manager and Appointed Person to lead our lifting operations at the Lancaster depot. You will act as the technical link between customers and the depot, turning site visits into safe, practical and commercially viable lifting solutions.
With CPCS A61, a full UK driving licence, and knowledge of cranes and contract lifts, you will ensure compliance with industry standards and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety as
Qualifications
- Experience as Appointed Person
- CPCS A61 Appointed Person Blue Card
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong Health & Safety awareness
Responsibilities
- Carrying out customer site visits and developing opportunities into confirmed hire contracts
- Working with customers at all levels to establish the most effective lifting solution
- Producing high-quality site surveys, method statements, technical drawings and risk assessments
- Ensuring all lifting solutions meet industry standards and company procedures
- Maintaining high Health & Safety standards
- Taking ownership from enquiry to completion
- Providing technical support to the depot team
- Building customer relationships and representing the company professionally
