Thorn Baker Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor (Technical) to oversee day-to-day maintenance across the site. You will lead maintenance teams and contractors, ensuring reactive, planned, and statutory works are completed safely and efficiently.

The role requires a strong technical background in facilities management and building services, with essential qualifications and a focus on safety, client service, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a maintenance supervisory or team leadership role.
• Experience delivering reactive and planned maintenance within FM/building services.
• Strong knowledge in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, or Building Services.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent).
• Relevant technical qualification in Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing/Building Services.
• Working knowledge of CAFM systems.
• Understanding of fire safety, asbestos and water hygiene compliance.

Responsabilités

• Lead, motivate and develop the maintenance team to deliver high-quality services.
• Supervise direct reports and contractors, ensuring tasks are completed safely and effectively.
• Support training, mentoring, and development of team members.
• Ensure personnel maintain required qualifications and competencies.
• Manage reactive, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and compliance-related works.
• Coordinate with helpdesk to allocate and complete tasks within SLAs.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor service standards.
• Identify recurring issues and implement practical solutions to improve asset performance.
