Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a Technical Lead to steer the public UKPI web estate, guiding Angular front-ends, Node.js services, and AEM-authored content. You will define standards, govern integrations, and collaborate with marketing, design, and platform teams to deliver scalable, high-performance experiences across a large Nx monorepo.

You will mentor engineers, drive best practices, and push for continuous improvement, focusing on architecture, governance, and secure deployment in a hybrid office

Qualifications

• At least three years of development experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent; graduate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical leadership for the UKPI web estate (Angular front-ends, Node.js services, and AEM-authored content).
• Define and enforce architectural standards and governance for integrations, build pipelines, and content/data models.
• Collaborate with marketing, content teams, designers, and platform groups to deliver scalable and accessible experiences.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and validation for performance, accessibility, security, and policy compliance.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices across the monorepo.
