Job summary

Appnovation in the UK is hiring a UK-based Technical Lead to guide a global team delivering enterprise-scale web properties on a composable stack. You will own architecture, set standards, and ensure quality across accessibility, performance and security while coordinating with clients and stakeholders.

You will plan, code and review, acting as the technical voice on projects and mentoring developers to grow capability in headless delivery and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software development with leadership experience.
• Proven track record delivering corporate/enterprise-scale web properties (multi-site/multi-region).
• Experience with headless CMS and composable architectures.
• Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Set the team's technical direction and own architecture across the composable stack.
• Lead migrations and integrations between CMS and client systems.
• Engage with clients to explain technical concepts and manage expectations.
• Oversee delivery, estimation, backlog, and risk management.
• Mentor and grow the development team in headless/composable delivery.
