Responsibilities

  • Act as primary escalation point for complex queries, owning investigation, resolution, and stakeholder updates.
  • Support incident management and communicate effectively during major incidents.
  • Complete daily data uploads and identify automation opportunities.
  • Prepare, review, and validate journal entries per financial control requirements.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on reconciliation discrepancies and provide reporting.
  • Investigate and resolve aged items in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Execute reconciliations and QA checks daily, weekly, monthly per SOX standards.
  • Manage month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and ARCS submissions.
  • Produce monthly aged break reviews and performance updates.
  • Own audit-related activities, ensuring timely, accurate actions.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency, controls, and service delivery.
  • Maintain training and accreditation records for team compliance.
  • Deliver training, coaching, and knowledge transfer to the team.

Job description

What you’ll own as the Tech Lead:
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex queries, taking ownership through investigation, resolution, and stakeholder communication.
  • Support incident management activities and ensure effective communication during major incidents.
  • Complete daily data uploads and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Prepare, review, and validate journal entries in accordance with financial control requirements.
  • Perform root‑cause analysis on reconciliation discrepancies and provide accurate management information and reporting.
  • Investigate and resolve aged outstanding items, partnering with stakeholders to drive timely resolution.
  • Execute daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations and quality assurance checks in line with SOX compliance standards.
  • Manage month‑end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and ARCS submissions.
  • Produce monthly aged break reviews, reports, and operational performance updates.
  • Take ownership of audit‑related activities, ensuring actions are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and small‑scale projects to enhance efficiency, controls, and service delivery.
  • Maintain training and accreditation records, ensuring team compliance and capability development.
  • Deliver training, coaching, and knowledge transfer to team members, supporting ongoing development and process excellence.
