Job summary

Aubay UK is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to drive DEX Sustainability across a complex enterprise environment. This role combines technical leadership with deep involvement in platform stabilisation, resilience, and remediation of technical debt.

Location: London; hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office. In this contract, you will lead investigations, troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, data and support teams to deliver sustainable technology

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical leadership within complex enterprise environments.
• Proven experience investigating and troubleshooting production and platform issues.
• Strong understanding of operational stability, resilience, performance and service management.
• Experience across applications, databases, infrastructure, integrations and support functions.
• Strong root cause analysis and structured problem-solving skills.
• Experience defining and delivering Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).
• Experience supporting production deployments, operational readiness and service transition.
• Knowledge of cloud, SaaS, data and digital platforms.
• Ability to identify technical risks and drive remediation activities.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills and ability to translate technical detail into business language.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership across the DEX Sustainability scope.
• Lead technical investigation and resolution of complex stability, performance and resilience issues.
• Work directly with engineering, infrastructure, database and support teams to diagnose issues.
• Analyse logs, configurations, environments, databases and integrations to determine root causes.
• Drive remediation of technical debt, operational risks and systemic platform issues.
• Define, manage and validate NFRs covering resilience, availability, recoverability and supportability.
• Challenge solution designs that do not adequately address operational requirements.
• Support testing, deployment, implementation and production readiness activities.
• Lead technical troubleshooting during implementation and production support.
• Support stabilisation and transition into Business as Usual operations.
