Job summary

Aubay UK is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to drive DEX Sustainability across a complex enterprise environment. This role combines technical leadership with deep involvement in platform stabilisation, resilience, and remediation of technical debt.

Location: London; hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office. In this contract, you will lead investigations, troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, data and support teams to deliver sustainable technology

• Strong stakeholder communication skills and ability to translate technical detail into business language.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership across the DEX Sustainability scope.
• Lead technical investigation and resolution of complex stability, performance and resilience issues.
• Work directly with engineering, infrastructure, database and support teams to diagnose issues.
• Analyse logs, configurations, environments, databases and integrations to determine root causes.
• Drive remediation of technical debt, operational risks and systemic platform issues.
• Define, manage and validate NFRs covering resilience, availability, recoverability and supportability.
• Challenge solution designs that do not adequately address operational requirements.
• Support testing, deployment, implementation and production readiness activities.
• Lead technical troubleshooting during implementation and production support.
• Support stabilisation and transition into Business as Usual operations.

Aubay UK is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to drive DEX Sustainability across a complex enterprise environment. This role combines technical leadership with deep technical involvement in platform stabilisation, resilience, operational sustainability and technical debt remediation. Working on a strategic transformation programme, the successful candidate will lead investigations, troubleshoot complex production issues and collaborate directly with engineering, infrastructure, data and support teams to deliver sustainable technology outcomes. This is a 6-month rolling contract role.

Required Skills and Experience
